Frequently asked questions
Do viewers see the overlay late?
Yes. The overlay is a browser source inside OBS, so it goes into the picture before the delay and reaches viewers along with everything else, delayed by the same amount.
Can I change how they look?
Yes. InstantClone's Overlay tab is a Studio: pick one of these, then change it or start from a blank canvas. It also makes alerts, goals and timers.
Do I need InstantClone running?
Yes. OBS loads the overlay from InstantClone on your own PC, which is also where the live numbers come from.
